The South African Police Service in Moletlane launched massive manhunt for a group of armed suspects who committed a business robbery on Monday, 18 August 2025 at around 04:30, in one of the filling stations at Moletlane Zebediela, in Capricorn District.
Reportedly, the suspects wearing balaclavas and armed with firearms arrived at the filling station and went to one of the offices. They threatened the victim with firearms and demanded money. They held one customer and other employees on hostage whilst grinding the safe.
They ultimately opened the safe and robbed of an undisclosed amount of money. They then proceeded to the teller and robbed of some cash, two cellphones, and camera memory before fleeing from the scene.
The Police were alerted about the incident. A case of business robbery was opened for further investigation.
