The Provincial Murder and Robbery Unit based in Bloemfontein is appealing to members of the public for assistance in tracing nine suspects wanted in connection with a case of business robbery and attempted murder.
On Sunday, 22 October 2023, at approximately 19:00, nine unidentified males allegedly stormed into a local factory in Ladybrand. The suspects were reportedly armed with a firearm.
During the incident, a man was shot and a security guard was robbed of his cellphone. Although the suspects attempted to steal money, their efforts were unsuccessful.
A case of business robbery and attempted murder is currently under investigation.
