On Tuesday 19 August 2025 at 07:00, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Social Crime Prevention Unit Officers, conducted a scholar patrol inspection at Eastleigh Primary school, in the Edenvale area.
Officers monitored the scholar patrol team on how they control the flow of traffic around the school and ensured that all pedestrians use the sidewalk.
All motorists were advised to follow the prescribed speed limit around schools.
