Earlier this week, our Law Enforcement team and Elsie’s River Community Improvement District (CID) joined forces to take down a group of 7 Smash and Grab suspects operating in the area.
Thanks to a coordinated response, all suspects were arrested, and 3 were positively identified for previously pointing a firearm at a motorist!
In another operation, LEAP members partnered with SAPS to target The Range, resulting in a large consignment of Mandrax being seized, as well as over a kilogram of Tik!
These successes showcase the power of integration between policing and enforcement resources.
And when combined with Community Improvement Districts and Neighbourhood Watches, the results are even more impressive!
We’re excited for the launch of our dedicated ward-based Metro Police, who will play a central role in integrating between all agencies and community safety structures.
Together, we’re making our communities safer
