Three (3) people were injured in a collision that occurred at the R102 & Wick Street intersection in Verulam – KZN this morning (Saturday).
A member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was proceeding for an unrelated callout at approximately 08:18 when he drove onto the scene that just occurred. Metro Police Officers were also passing and stopped to assist.
It was confirmed that a blue Mitsubishi Colt bakkie, a silver Triber and a white Hyundai Getz were involved in the incident. Two (2) occupants of the Renault Triber and the driver of the bakkie sustained injuries. They were stabilised on scene before being expedited to hospital by ambulance.
Details leading up to the crash were not immediately established.
