A 28-year-old woman was the victim of an armed robbery on Jackal Road, Waterloo – KZN this afternoon (Wednesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to the scene at approximately 21:19. Upon arrival, Reaction Officers met the distressed victim, who reported that she was approached by four male suspects shortly after she disembarked from a taxi.
One of the men was armed with a firearm. The suspects held her at gunpoint and demanded her belongings. The assailants made off with the victim’s iPhone XR and a lunch bag.
The victim was not injured.
