Intelligence was received regarding a hijacked Isuzu bakkie, with the vehicle’s tracking beacon last registering a signal in Soweto before being compromised.
Follow-up intelligence led units to an address in Brakpan. On arrival, one male suspect was seen fleeing the premises and was apprehended. Two electronic devices, confirmed to have been taken during the hijacking, were found in his possession.
Further investigation at the location resulted in the recovery of the vehicle’s canopy.

-All evidence and suspect handed over to Dawn Park SAPS for further investigation.
