An 80-year-old man sustained injuries after he was struck by his driveway gate on Jasmin Place, Redcliffe – KZN this morning (Tuesday).
The incident occurred when the wind caused a driveway swing gate to open forcefully, striking the man on his back. As a result of the impact, he fell face first, sustaining injuries to his head.
Paramedics from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to the scene at approximately 07:47 and provided first aid to the injured man.
