At approximately 08:30 on the 5th of September 2025, Rustenburg First Responders received a call regarding a motor vehicle accident on the N4 at the Kroondal Toll Gate. Information received indicated that a vehicle carrying hazardous material had caught fire.
Rustenburg First Responders immediately dispatched both Fire and EMS services to the scene. Eagle Trauma Rescue and ER24 EMS were on scene and transported two patients with minor injuries to the nearest clinic for further medical care.
Upon arrival, Mr. Rayno Dempers, Special Operations Manager of Trauma Rescue EMS, assumed the role of Scene Commander and ensured that the scene was managed safely and effectively.
