Crime prevention operations have continued in the Verulam area, with the latest initiative, led by Verulam SAPS in partnership with KZNVIP, CPF members, law enforcement agencies and other key stakeholders, yielding successful outcomes.
These operations form part of a series of ongoing initiatives aimed at curbing crime in the community. Focus areas have included stop and searches, snake patrols, high-visibility deployments, compliance checks within the CBD and roadblocks on key routes.
The continued efforts have once again yielded results, with several arrests made, stolen property recovered, dangerous weapons removed and vagrants cleared from problem areas.
KZNVIP welcomes these proactive measures and commends Verulam SAPS for maintaining close collaboration with stakeholders, security companies and community structures to ensure that crime prevention remains a sustained priority in the Verulam area.
