A 23-year-old female was injured in a hit-and-run incident while returning home from a local store on Ocean Crest Grove in Trenance Park – KZN this afternoon (Saturday).
The incident occurred when a vehicle struck her from behind, and the driver fled the scene without stopping to assist. Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene at approximately 18:49. Despite efforts by Reaction Officers to gather information about the vehicle involved, no leads have been obtained so far.
The injured pedestrian sustained a suspected fracture to her right leg and was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical care.
