Police seek public assistance in locating missing person from Matipane Ga-Moali, Modjadjiskloof

POLOKWANE – The South African Police Service in Modjadjiskloof, Mopani District, is appealing to community members to assist in locating Segopotso Moeti Mafa (29), who went missing on Tuesday, 08 July 2025.

The missing person, a resident of Matipane Ga-Moali Village, was last seen at Lomondekop Rehabilitation Camp. Caretakers discovered his absence during a roll call and immediately alerted both his family and the police.

At the time of his disappearance, it was reported that he was mentally challenged. Despite ongoing search efforts by the police and family, his whereabouts remain unknown, raising serious concern for his well-being.

Anyone with information that may assist in locating Segopotso Moeti Mafa is urged to contact Detective Constable Lazarus Lehlogonolo Kgatla on 076 346 8476 or Sergeant Nyeleti Makamu on 073 151 7319 at Modjadjiskloof SAPS. Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously via the SAPS Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or the MySAPS App.
