Members of the Gauteng Traffic Police and Gauteng Traffic Wardens Essential Infrastructure Task Team (SC) responded to a TrackerSA callout regarding a Toyota Etios hijacked around Booysens.
The vehicle was tracked to Eldorado Park Ext 6, where two suspects were arrested for possession of a hijacked motor vehicle.
Further investigation revealed that one of the suspects is linked to armed robberies under a Protea SAPS case.
In a separate operation, officers responded to a Cartrack lookout notification for a hijacked Isuzu. The vehicle was recovered stripped in Orange Farm Ext 2.
