Durban Metro Police officers have been hard at work across the city enforcing municipal bylaws and maintaining law and order

● Several vagrants found sleeping on public roads were removed to restore safety and ensure free pedestrian movement.
● Motorists were charged for washing vehicles on public roads, a contravention of the EThekwini Municipality bylaws.
● Roadblock Operations: Immigrants found without valid documentation were arrested and charged for contravening municipal and immigration laws.
CBD Bylaws and Traffic Enforcement Team:
● Illegal hawkers charged along West Street.
● Warrant operation was conducted at the intersection of Bertha Mkhize Road and Joseph Nduli Street.
● Warrants block held on Mount Batten Drive.
These operations form part of our continuous efforts to uphold the eThekwini Municipality Bylaws and ensure a cleaner, safer, and law-abiding city for all.
