At approximately 17:00 yesterday afternoon, Rustenburg First Responders received a call reporting a head-on collision that had just occurred on the R104 Old Buffelspoort Road.
Information received indicated that two vehicles had collided, leaving three people trapped in one of the vehicles. Rustenburg First Responders, Trauma Rescue EMS, Bojanala EMS, Med24/7 EMS, and Rustenburg Fire and Rescue were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, it was found that one patient remained entrapped and was successfully extricated by Fire and Rescue teams. All patients sustained moderate injuries and were treated, stabilised, and transported to hospital for further care.
This scene was attended by Rustenburg First Responders, Trauma Rescue EMS, Bojanala EMS, Med24/7 EMS, and Rustenburg Fire and Rescue Services.
