Man Found Fatally Stabbed In Pathway: Amaotana – KZN

A male was discovered lying unresponsive on a footpath leading to Qedumona Road in the Mchunu Section of Amaotana – KZN early this morning (Tuesday).

At approximately 07:04, Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from members of the public requesting urgent assistance after the man was found with multiple stab wounds and a firearm near his body.

Upon arrival, Reaction Officers found the unidentified male lying on the ground with multiple penetrating wounds to his upper body and neck. Rigor mortis had already set in. He was declared deceased on the scene by RUSA Paramedics. A firearm, without a magazine, was discovered approximately three metres away from the body.

The motive for the murder has not been established.
