WESTERN CAPE – Members of the Anti-Gang Unit followed up information of a shooting incident which occurred in the Ravensmead area.
The investigation led the members to an address in Geranium Avenue, Uitsig on Tuesday night, where they searched the identified premises and confiscated a 9mm pistol with 16 rounds of ammunition which was hidden between the clothes in a cupboard. They arrested a 22-year-old male for the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
He will appear in the Goodwood Magistrate’s Court, today.
