POLOKWANE – The South African Police Service in Mopani District remain committed in the fight against the mushrooming of drugs in the province.
This was evident during an intelligence driven operation executed by members of Mopani Tracking team, and task team when they pounced on a foreign male national suspect for dealing in drugs in Tzaneen CBD.
On Wednesday, 08 October 2025 at around 10:30, the team followed up on intelligence information about a man who was suspected of dealing in drugs. The information was operationalised, which led to the arrest of the suspect for dealing in drugs. Various drugs and cash were confiscated to the estimated value of R20 000.00.
The 27-year-old male suspect will appear before Tzaneen Magistrate’s Court on Friday,10 October 2025, on charges of dealing in drugs.
