Road crashes and fires keep Mossel Bay, Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management crews busy

Mossel Bay, Fire, Rescue and Disaster Management crews have had a busy weekend. During the past 16 hours crews responded to 2 vegetation fires – one in Brandwag 15 km from Mossel Bay, and another on Bill Jeffrey Avenue, in Extension 23; 2 motor vehicle accidents – one on the N2 near Great Brak Rivier, another on Louis Fourie Road , Voorbaai; a house fire in Anker Street, D’Almeida and the destruction of multiple wood and iron structures in New Rest, KwaNonqaba.
