An armed robbery occurred at a church in Waterloo – KZN during the early hours of yesterday (Saturday) morning.
Four individuals locking up after a service were confronted by two male suspects, one carrying a 9mm pistol. The suspects robbed a 23-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman of their Huawei Honor Y90 and an iPhone 11 cellphones before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to a call for assistance and searched the area for suspects, but no arrests were made.
