A 40-year-old veered off the road after suffering a heart attack while travelling on Lenham Drive in Lenham – KZN this morning (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene at approximately 07:21 and discovered a red VW Golf on a grass verge on the side of the road. The driver complained of extreme chest pains which forced him to veer off the road. He was alone in the car at the time of the incident.
He was stabilised on the scene before being expedited to the hospital by ambulance.
