A 19 year old girl was injured after the vehicle she was travelling in overturned on the south bound lane of the R102 at the Trade Centre offramp in Phoenix last night.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by a passerby requesting medical assistance for the injured teenager. Upon arrival a Chev Utility bakkie was found lying on its roof on the offramp. The injured passenger was treated on scene for moderate injuries before being transported to Umhlanga Hospital. Two other occupants of the bakkie were not injured.
Circumstances surrounding the accident is yet to be established.
