As part of its continued drive to raise awareness in relation to safe public transport, Western Cape Transport and Public Works Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela will tomorrow, Tuesday 12 January 2021, join taxi industry leadership at the distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to taxi drivers and passengers in Malmesbury in the West Coast.
The event has been organised by the National Liquor Traders Council in partnership with Distell in support of SANTACO’s Western Cape compliance initiative to assist taxi drivers and commuters with face masks and hand sanitisers. This partnership is critical in supporting government’s efforts in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic especially in the transport sector where daily congregation of commuters is the norm.
