he Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Bronberg Precinct Officers, cornered a wanted VW POLO, reported to be involved in criminal activities, in and around the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).
Acting on a tip off from a reliable source, about a notorious white VW POLO, involved in a spade of criminal activities within the CoE, the EMPD crime fighting Unit, jumped into action. The suspicious vehicle, was found abandoned, parked strategically amongst other vehicles, at the Springs shopping mall.
The white VW was thoroughly tested, and Officers learned that the uncovered vehicle, was used on different occasions, in the commission of criminal activities and there is an outstanding case opened against it, at the Zonkizizwe police station.
All the necessary stakeholders, including the South African Police Service (SAPS) Fingerprint Unit, were summoned and the white POLO, was booked for safe keeping, at the Aeroton police yard.
