The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Rapid Tactical Response Unit Officers intercepted two male suspects aged 24 and 31, for possession of R5000 worth of dagga in the Daveyton area.
While performing law enforcement duties in the Daveyton area, the EMPD Officers received information from a reliable source about a male within the area, who was dealing with illicit substances.
The Officers followed up on the information, and proceeded to the identified address on Duvula Street in Daveyton.
Upon arrival, Officers cornered two male suspects busy packaging dagga, inside the house. Upon interviewing the suspect, who could not provide satisfactory explanation for being in possession of the substance, the Officers immediately placed the twosome under arrest.
