In resolving taxi violence ravaging Nqanqarhu (Maclear), Transport and Community Safety MEC Xolile Nqatha hit the ground running by visiting Elundini municipal jurisdiction on Tuesday.
Accompanied by Local and Joe Gqabi District municipalities’ leadership, they met the affected Nqanqarhu (Maclear) taxi leadership from both Border Alliance and Uncedo Service Taxi Association.
The meeting went well, and all warring parties resolved to stop fighting as soon as possible for peace and tranquility to prevail.
Smooth running of taxi business to serve the affected communities with immediate effect became master stroke at the end of the meeting.
