On Wednesday, Fidelity ADT Lenasia received a call from the Fidelity team requesting assistance following a vehicle that was hijacked on Tuesday in the Lenasia South Area.
The team immediately proceeded to the location and was first on the scene with another security company assisting with vehicle recoveries. The teams spotted the white Opel bakkie parked behind a wall and proceeded to the outbuilding, where one suspect was caught.
The team then proceeded to the main house, where three suspects were found. All suspects were handed over to the SAPS flying squad.
Various car parts, truck parts, and chemicals were found on the premises. The recovered vehicle’s signage had been removed and the number plates had been changed. The teams used the VIN number to confirm the vehicle, had been hijacked.
