Suspect involved with theft out of vehicle caught.
A suspect was apprehended after he was seen forcing open the trunk of a vehicle parked in the driveway at Saxon Road in Rondebosch. A non-customer called for help as the suspect was trying to get away with his items that were in the vehicle.
A Fidelity response officer was nearby and responded quickly, managing to arrest the suspect. Rondebosch police were also called to the crime scene, and the suspect was handed over to SAPS.
Well done to his officer for his vigilance and swift response!
