Members of KZNVIP in collaboration with the Newlands East Police Station, local law enforcement and other emergency service partners, participated in a proactive crime prevention operation across the Newlands East and West areas, earlier today (25 July 2025).
The team conducted coordinated snake patrols through key areas, as well as, carried out random stop-and-searches, set up roadblocks, and engaged with individuals believed to be acting suspiciously.
The operation proved to be a great success, demonstrating the power of collaboration between private security and state services. These joint initiatives play a vital role in ensuring safer communities and will continue to be carried out in the coming weeks.
