On Monday, 14 July 2025, at around 17:30pm, JHB Flying Squad members were busy patrolling when a lookout of a White Hyundai i10 involved in a theft incident was given. The vehicle was spotted at Alexandra with three (3) occupants inside. Upon searching the vehicle, the members found car breaking implements, two (2) laptops and a cell phone suspected to have been stolen.
The trio was subsequently placed under arrest for possession of suspected stolen property and possession of car breaking implements.
On another separate incident, the team arrested one suspect found in possession of packets of heroin (Nyaope).
All arrested suspects are expected to appear before Alexandra Magistrates’ court on 16 July 2025.
