The SAPS Namakwa District Task Team executed a successful search and seizure operation in Steinkopf on Wednesday, 11 September 2025, at approximately 14:45.
During the operation, members found eight suspects, seven males and one female, aged between 18 and 47, at the premises.
A thorough search resulted in the seizure of illegal substances and cash believed to be the proceeds of crime.
The task team seized 43.33g of tik with an estimated street value of R1 270 900.
All eight suspects were arrested on charges of dealing in drugs and are expected to appear in court soon.
