An intelligence-driven operation led to the arrest of two men and the seizure of dagga wrapped in plastic bags in the Jeppe policing precinct on Tuesday, 23 June 2026.
Members of the Johannesburg K9 Unit, supported by the Gauteng Highway Patrol, operationalised information regarding individuals allegedly dealing in dagga within the Jeppe policing area.
The information led police to Bezuidenhout Valley in Johannesburg, where two male suspects aged 45 and 46 were found in possession of a large quantity of dagga with an estimated street value of approximately R150 000.
The suspects were subsequently arrested for dealing in dagga and are expected to appear in court soon.
