Different types of oil Categories:
- Fully Synthetic
These are oils that are chemically combined from synthetic base oils, additives and carrier oils that are of extremally good quality to achieve a higher performance than that of Semi-synthetic and Conventional oils.
Benefits:
– Reduced engine drags which result in longer engine life
– Improved fuel economy
– Improved low and high-temperature viscosity performance
– Reduces oil sludge and thermal breakdown etc.
– Longer intervals between oil changes etc.
Semi-Synthetic (Synthetic Blend)
These oils are a combination of both Mineral and Synthetic oils which are designed to have several similar benefits to the synthetic oil but at a fraction of the price. Semi-synthetic oil provides a higher quality than that of Mineral oils.
Benefits:
– Keeping the engine clean and removing impurities
– Improved flow in lower temperatures
– Better engine wear protection
– Better fuel economy and performance
- Mineral (Conventional Oil)
These are refined Petroleum oils which are processed with other additives, these oils are the most commonly used oil for a majority number of vehicles. That’s because it has a lot of benefits when it comes to mineral oil.
Benefits:
– More Cost-effective than synthetic oils
