An armed hijacking was reported on Carden Crescent in the Parlock area on Saturday morning.
KZN VIP Response officers were alerted to the incident, Upon arrival officers established that a man and his mother were leaving their residence in a Suzuki Swift when they were confronted by four armed suspects travelling in a white Volkswagen Polo. The suspects allegedly held the victims at gunpoint before forcing them out of their vehicle.
The suspects fled the scene with the stolen Suzuki Swift while making off in the white Volkswagen Polo in an unknown direction.
The stolen vehicle is a Suzuki Swift, registration DC99ZDZN carrying a full tank of fuel, and identifiable by a dent on the front right-hand side.
SAPS has been notified Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle or the suspects is urged to contact SAPS or KZN VIP immediately. Members of the public are advised not to approach the suspects, as they are believed to be armed and dangerous.
