Three (3) armed suspects robbed the occupants of a home before hijacking a vehicle in Riet River – KZN yesterday (Friday, 17/07/2026).
According to the vehicle owner, he was leaving a friend’s residence at approximately 20:30 when three (3) suspects, all armed with firearms, confronted him outside the driveway. One (1) suspect held him at gunpoint and searched him for valuables while the other two (2) entered the residence and robbed the occupants of three (3) cellphones and other items.
The suspects thereafter fled in the victim’s 2021 white Peugeot 108 hatchback, registration JX47JHGP.
The vehicle has dark-tinted windows, approximately one-quarter (1/4) tank of fuel, a dent on the left rear door, a black boot bearing a 108 badge, and a Suzuki-branded right rear wheel cap, while the remaining three (3) wheel caps are Peugeot branded.
