Parys Detectives request the public’s assistance in locating the families of three bodies discovered in Parys.
In the first incident, On Sunday, 21 August 2023, a passer-by found an unknown white male next to Barrage Road. He was wearing a blue jeans and a white t-shirt. The deceased was later identified through fingerprints as Mr Aubrey Louis Verwey (53).
On Monday, 26 June 2023 Simphiwe Welcome Khumalo (46), was admitted to Parys Hospital after he was assaulted. On Tuesday, 27 June 2023 he succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was wearing a black t-shirt and black tracksuit pants, both with an emblem of Mswenko.
In the last case, the skeleton of an unknown male was recovered in the Parys vicinity. The right eye of the skull had a metal plate and the following clothes were found at the scene: black safety boots, a brown t-shirt, white short pants, black long pants and blue tracksuit top.
