West Rand District Commissioner, Major General Lorraine Challen was hard at work last night leading from the front at a roadblock in Bekkersdal and Westonaria, West Rand District.
Law enforcement officers were searching for stolen/hijacked vehicles and other illicit goods transported on the road, also to ensure that road users are and feel safe.
More than forty suspects have been arrested for crime that includes possession of drugs, driving while under the influence of alcohol and contravention of the Immigration Act.
