It is alleged that the missing person communicated telephonically with his wife on Tuesday, 21 October 2025. No one has heard from him since. Preliminary investigations were conducted, and a white Volkswagen Polo belonging to the missing person was traced through the assistance of the tracking company. The vehicle was found locked and abandoned at an area between Bronville and Virginia. A search was conducted by the Welkom K9 and Bloemfontein Search and Rescue team with no success. The vehicle has been booked in by police for further investigations.
It is unknown what the missing person was wearing at the time of his disappearance. Police investigations are ongoing.
