While conducting regular patrols in the Northdale area yesterday, Mi7 Reaction Officers came across three men who appeared to be fighting in the middle of the roadway.
The Reaction Officer immediately intervened, and upon speaking to the three men, it was established that two of them were actually in the process of robbing the third of his cellphone. When the allegation was made, the pair darted off.
However, Reaction Officers were quick to pursue, and both were apprehended. The third man, the victim of the robbery, was found with deep bite wounds on his arms, which emanated from the confrontation. He was not injured otherwise.
The victim, as well as his assailants, were escorted to the police station where the matter was handed over for further investigation.
