The owner of a maroon Renault Sandero that was found abandoned in a sugarcane plantation has been identified.
Officers from Reaction Unit South Africa responded to a call from a pedestrian who discovered the vehicle abandoned in Nyaninga in Tongaat – KZN. During their investigation, Reaction Officers were directed to a nearby reservoir and, upon further inquiry, determined that the vehicle belonged to a security officer.
The female owner confirmed that she had parked the vehicle in the sugarcane field after it became unable to traverse a muddy area.
