The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Northern Region Task Team Officers, arrested one (1) suspect for possession of a suspected stolen vehicle in the Kempton Park area.
While conducting law enforcement duties in Bredell, Officers stopped an orange VW Polo to perform a systematic vehicle check. After verifying the vehicle details with the control centre, it was confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen in Delmas.
A 60-year-old male suspect was arrested and detained at Kempton Park Police Station. He is facing charges of possession of a suspected stolen vehicle. He is expected to appear soon at the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court.
