Police in Zastron apprehended a 41-year-old male and confiscated live ammunition.
On Friday, 24 July 2026, at about 09:15, members of Zastron Police Station, Selosesha Public Order Police and Ladybrand K9 were conducting a Second-Hand Goods Compliance operation around Zastron.
Upon arrival at a mechanical workshop, police allegedly found 21 live rounds of shotgun ammunition hidden in a cupboard.
A 41-year-old white male was apprehended for unlawful possession of live ammunition.
He is expected to appear before the Zastron Magistrate’s Court soon.
