OR Tambo police continued with their endeavours to intensify #OperationShanela 11, resulting in the arrest of three male suspects aged between 26 and 41 in Mthatha and Lusikisiki for different crimes committed on Tuesday, 24 February 2026.
In the first incident in Lusikisiki, at Mcobothini locality, a 26-year-old male suspect was arrested by the OR Tambo District Task Team operating between Port St Johns and Flagstaff for unlawful possession of an unlicensed 9mm pistol with an erased serial number and three live rounds of ammunition.
