Following an alert received regarding a hijacked Suzuki in Alexandra, Blue Hawk Tactical units mobilised to the location. On arrival, the vehicle was successfully located inside a hostel area. The vehicle had been stripped, and no keys were found on scene.
Cartrack contacted the owner, who arrived with a spare key. SaferCity dispatched JMPD, and the owner elected to open a case. The vehicle was transported to the nearest SAPS station for further investigation and processing.
No suspects were located at the scene.
