A 15-year-old scholar was robbed of his cellphone in the Verulam CBD – KZN.
The victim arrived at Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) HQ. He explained that he was walking with his mother when a lone suspect approached him.
The suspect grabbed his hand and removed his cellphone from his pocket. His mother attempted to interject, but the suspect fled on foot.
The grade 9 pupil is on study leave in preparation for his final examinations.
