In the early hours of Monday morning, at around 01h55, our Vaal crews responded to a motor vehicle accident on Johan Le Roux Road in Sicelo, Meyerton.
On arrival, crews found that two vehicles had collided at a four-way crossing. Two patients sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital by ER24.
Collisions at intersections are common and often caused by drivers failing to yield, ignoring traffic signals, or misjudging the speed of oncoming vehicles. Motorists are urged to approach intersections with caution, slow down, and ensure the road is clear before proceeding.
