At approximately 22:34 (Saturday), members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Grove End Drive in Phoenix – KZN.
Upon arrival, Reaction Officers found that a private ambulance service was already in attendance. The collision involved a white Hyundai Accent and a white Renault Triber. The driver of the Hyundai Accent fled the scene on foot, leaving his passengers behind.
The Phoenix SAPS in KZN arrived shortly thereafter and were investigating further.
