The Free State Serious and Violent Crimes Unit and the Fezile Dabi Trio Task Team arrested two males, aged 30 and 32, for possession of drugs.
On Friday, 19 December 2025, members received information about a silver Hyundai Atos roaming the streets of Sasolburg selling drugs. They swiftly acted on the information, and the said vehicle was spotted and apprehended. Two male occupants were in the vehicle, and while searching the vehicle, 100 Mandrax tablets, 1050 Nyaope plastic and two big blocks of crystal meth estimated at a street value of R50,000 were discovered in possession of the two suspects. The drugs and the vehicle were confiscated.
The two suspects are expected to appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of possession of drugs.
