A ten (10) year old/grade four (4) male student from Riverview Primary School in Palmview – KZN suffered a fractured left leg after been struck by a passing vehicle on Swift Palm this afternoon (Wednesday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) despatched assistance to the scene at 14:13. The driver of a Cherry Tiggo explained that the child ran across the road from behind a stationary vehicle resulting in the accident.
The injured boy was transported privately to Mahatma Ghandi Memorial Hospital (MGMH) for medical treatment.
