Members of the Durban Metro Police Service Tactical Support Unit recovered a hijacked motor vehicle during crime prevention operations conducted in the Bonella area today.
Whilst conducting patrols within the precinct, officers discovered a grey Jeep motor vehicle parked outside Bonella Secondary School. Further investigations confirmed that the vehicle had been hijacked in the Pinetown area.
The vehicle was secured by members on scene and handed over to SAPS Cato Manor for further investigation and processing.
